Event Recap: "Beats for Relief" Supports Flood Victims in Southern Brazil

On May 25th in Barcelona, the community came together for an extraordinary event hosted by Beats for Relief at a vibrant venue filled with music and dance. The evening was dedicated to supporting the victims of the catastrophic floods that devastated parts of southern Brazil earlier this year.

A Night of Solidarity and Music

The event featured an impressive lineup of performers who brought the crowd to their feet from early evening until midnight. Artists like ROMM, AABSTRAL, and TIAGO RUBENS delivered unforgettable musical performances, while dancers like APRIL GALLO and DANIEL TRINTA added a dynamic visual flair to the night. Special acts such as juggling by DAVID LA CROIX and a theatrical piece by ALENA OF ANSTATUANTO THEATRE provided unique entertainment that captivated all attendees.

Throughout the evening, DJ sets pulsed with energy, setting an upbeat tempo and keeping the spirits high. The event also featured Brazilian-inspired artwork by Carolina Petersen, which was sold to raise additional funds.

Impactful Contributions

Thanks to the generous contributions of those who attended and those who donated online, we successfully raised €1,000. These funds were donated to Misturai, a reputable and serious institution based in the community of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Misturai has been instrumental in providing direct help to those who lost their homes in the floods.

Gratitude and Hope

We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this special night possible—from the performers and artists to our attendees and donors. Your support not only made the event a success but also brought hope and assistance to those in dire need in Brazil.

This event stands as a testament to the power of community and the impact of coming together for a common cause. We are moved by the spirit of generosity that was so vividly displayed throughout the evening.
