Michelle Wolf Headlines Sold-Out ‘Laughs for Relief’ Show

Comedy royalty meets community action for Beats for Relief’s debut event.

On April 25th, a sold-out crowd packed Black Lab Taproom in Barcelona for an unforgettable night of comedy, craft beer, and giving back. The occasion? The first-ever Laughs for Relief, presented by Beats for Relief in collaboration with Jokes & Beers, raising funds for Open Arms, the Mediterranean NGO protecting migrants and refugees at sea.

And the night’s crown jewel? Michelle Wolf — internationally acclaimed comedian, writer, and truth-teller — who took the stage and gave the kind of performance only she can deliver: razor-sharp, hilarious, fearless, and full of heart.

A Headliner Who Shows Up

Michelle Wolf isn’t just comedy elite — she’s cultural impact in motion. Known for her 2018 White House Correspondents’ Dinner set that ignited headlines around the world, Wolf has also starred in her own Netflix special (Joke Show), hosted The Break with Michelle Wolf, and appeared on The Daily Show and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

But on this night in Barcelona, she gave her time and talent for something bigger — standing in solidarity with people risking everything to survive and find safety. That’s what made her appearance so special: not just the fame, but the fact that she showed up for the cause.

The Lineup

Hosted by the endlessly charismatic Silvano, the show featured a powerhouse of local and international talent:

  • Michelle Wolf

  • Irene Sango

  • Will Line

  • Mariah Girouard

  • Carlos Toca

  • Alec Snook

  • Iain Anderson

Each brought their own voice, perspective, and hilarity to the stage, making for a night that was as diverse as it was electric.

The Impact

The venue was completely sold out, with laughter echoing through the taproom and more than €1,000 raised for Open Arms. From ticket sales to community energy, every part of the evening was a reminder that comedy has the power to heal, connect, and mobilize.

The mission of Beats for Relief is simple: to make music and live performance matter. And with this debut event, that mission hit the ground running.
