Introducing Beats Lab: A New Summer Music Series with Volta in the Heart of El Born
Beats for Relief is proud to launch Beats Lab, a new live music series in collaboration with Volta, the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and rooftop bar at Hotel Borneta in Barcelona’s El Born district.
This ongoing series blends the soulful energy of local and international artists with one of the city’s most intentional and vibrant venues. From Sunday brunches to special rooftop celebrations, each event is curated to foster connection — to music, to place, and to each other.

Barcelona’s Sant Joan Festival is all about fire, community, and the magic of midsummer. Join us on Hotel Borneta’s rooftop — a hidden gem with panoramic views over Parc de la Ciutadella, crowned by a striking egg sculpture by Argentinian artist Pilar Zeta, whose symbolic, surrealist work has earned global acclaim and two Grammy nominations.
The evening will feature a special live set by Fernanda Alemán, a Barcelona-based Argentinian artist whose music weaves analog synths, guitar, and layered vocals into a hypnotic, immersive performance.
Entry is free. Rooftop cocktails and light bites available throughout the evening.
