It all started in our childhood garage.
Since 2006, we have been bringing together good company to a good cause. Thanks to venues like our family’s garage, K+K Picasso, RM Champagne Salon, K+K Hotels, Lagunitas Brewery, The Bedford, Vapiano, The Elbo Room and others, we’ve been able to open doors to talented artists and altruistically inclined folks from all over the world.
Proceeds support the charity/organization of the year.
Past charities include: American Refugee Committee, The International Rescue Committee, iSpeak Chicago, The Cara Program - Everybody Dance Now!, Save Darfur, Chicago Coalition for the Homeless
Tia Einarsen
Co-FOUNDER
Tia has been starting movements since she was a little girl on stage moving her body. Actually, she can't stop moving. She once was duck taped into her carseat. Let’s just say she found how to put that energy into movements like Beats for Relief.
With a close knit community of talented musicians and artists that surrounds Tia, she was inspired to leverage these talents to help the greater good.
Leah Einarsen
Co-FOUNDER
Drawing on walls wasn't the best thing that Leah did as a little girl, but if it led to her Art Director career, we will never know.
Leah has art directed socially-conscious events like fashion shows for homeless women, branding for nonprofits, like Barack Obama's, My Brother's Keeper, and continues to put her efforts towards creating for the greater good.
